Her Furryness, Darth Stitch, Evil Blue Alien Half-Vampiric Genetic Experiment
I am a fuzzy blue alien wandering about the Internets reading and writing fan fiction. The Blanket Fort is located in a hidden pocket corner somewhere in 221B Baker Street, the flat shared by Mr. Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson. These gentlemen are often out, as the game, of course, is always afoot.
The Fort is currently being run by two Stupidly Adorable Nonagenarians - a pair of trouble-magnet Brooklyn Boys who, despite all protests to the contrary by the supposedly Sane one of this duo, really don't know when to back down from the Good Fight. They are often accompanied on their mischief by their friends - the billionaire philanthropist genius, his fire-breathing girlfriend/CEO, the Black Widow, a sharp-shooting Birdbrain, a Norse God Dwelf, a scientist with breathtaking anger management issues and a Falcon. We may have the occasional visits from S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents, especially their new Director.
The former management is enjoying a well-deserved vacation in Bag End. Fili and Kili, together with Cousin Frodo, are busy keeping their beloved Uncles Thorin Oakenshield and Bilbo Baggins out of trouble and any Battles that might involve five armies.
The Fort is also inhabited by vampires, hobbits, Elves, dwarves, wayward Valar and Sith Lords, giant robots of the transforming and Jaeger types, Immortals, red-headed Japanese assassins, Jedi Knights, roguish smugglers, princesses and queens with a thing for elaborate hairdos and dragons, whether or not they like wearing blue scarves around their necks.
The Children of Elrond - Elladan, Arwen and Elrohir
Fantasy Casting - I realize that there were actors in the LOTR movies meant to represent Elladan and Elrohir but as they had zero lines in the movie, they might as well have been wallpaper.
I know that we had to deal with time constraints and three movies that already had a GINORMOUS cast of characters. But if LOTR was remade into a series, I would’ve loved to see the Children of Elrond, together with the Dunedain, reach Aragorn and the Rohirrim. In the books, Elladan and Elrohir fought with Aragorn during the War of the Ring. The movies meant to have Arwen at Helm’s Deep but this was apparently scrapped due to Fanboy Reaction (AAAAARRRGH!) and the possibility that Arwen being also a KICKASS Warrior Elf Princess would’ve stolen Eowyn’s thunder.
(Personally, if we had to adapt Tolkien to another medium we need ALL THE KICKASS Ladies we can get - not necessarily just warriors but being kickass in general.)
